On February 20th, 2016, Dave Cobb & Jason Havard celebrated two anniversaries: two years of official marriage, and twenty years of being together (hence the 2.20 date and event title)!
They held a party at Button Mash, a unique arcade bar/restaurant in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, combining Dave's love of retro video games and Jason's foodie tendencies, with amazing edibles by LA pop-up pioneers Starry Kitchen.
Custom video-game-inspired graphics were designed by their friend Ray Kampf, manifesting as online invitations, event posters, an actual playable videogame programmed by Mike Brister, and a collection of commemorative pins for attendees, featuring classic video game foes re-cast as quirky couples in love!
